Abstracts Submission Deadline
Please submit your oral presentation abstract or e-poster presentation abstract by the 5th of August 2022
Note. All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference book of abstracts and will be available on the Scosym webpage.
Abstracts
Abstracts of up to 350 words (excluding title, affiliations and references) related to scoliosis and kyphosis assessment, conservative treatment, bracing, PSSE, quality of life and health issues related to spinal deformities, are invited for peer review.
All abstracts should be submitted in English to abstract@scosym.org using the template provided. The abstract should include: Title, Authors and their affiliations (presenting author bold font), Introduction, method, results/discussion and conclusion, keywords. Authors may choose the type of presentation.
E- Poster Guidelines
Create your e-poster presentation using the following specifications:
Your e-poster should be a png or jpg file at a resolution of at least 1280x720px at 150dpi and in horizontal dimension.
You can also create your e-poster in a power point file and the save it as an image. To ensure the following dimensions open a power point presentation, then go to Design -> Page setup -> then choose Slides sized for: On screen show (16:9) and Orientation : Landscape. When you complete your presentation save as png or jpg.
Review Process
The scientific committee will contact the authors by the 20th of August 2022 the latest with formal decision of acceptance. The committee may ask for a change on the type of presentation. All the notifications will be sent to the corresponding author.
Early notification of acceptance is also available upon request. Simply email your request to abstract@scosym.org.
